Did you guys know a contract could be terminated and the person isn't necessarily considered "fired"? No one brings up that the termination happened in the middle of contract renegotiations, after Lumi and Yuri said they still have to sign their new contracts but havent yet. Sakana says that "everyone was made whole" sounds like Sakana and Yuri just came to an agreement, which was to split ways. Yeah there were contract breaches, but it's heavily implied that there was an intention to keep working together. My hypothesis is Yuri didn't care to continue that working relationship. Sakana talked about this recently. When a talent graduates, everything is deleted. This is so that the company is no longer profiting off of the work of someone who's no longer benefiting from the relationship, and it encourages the company to try to resolve issues with talents rather than just firing them at the first sign of trouble and continuing to profit off of what they did. Non-Phase Connect people can maintain archives or mirrors, but Phase Connect itself cannot, and it's part of contract and good for the talents.
