Your feeling is justified and share most of it as well. Indiechads (and perhaps small corpo friends) rule this thread and rightfully so.

But be careful on the "corpo-hating" slope because they are, in many ways, what this industry needs to break out and grow. If a corpo does well and reaches beyond the niche hobby (like Hololive is doing 2020-now or Nijisanji 2018-2020), that would benefit the whole landscape.

In an uncontrolled, nonn-corporated environment, groups and circles amongst indies will still form (like the indie circles we have around PokoPea, Dot live and Ex-Nijisanji network), and naturally some circles would be bigger than others. That would just be corpos but in a different form.

I still like Ponpoko/Peanuts/Aoi/Gatchman more than any corpo chuubas, this is just a rant that i felt like typing.
