IPadapter is insanely strong, and usually won't just give you the face, but everything else also, and then it will fight the video controlnets so it really just depends. what I like to do is have the first frame of the video used with a normal stable diffusion pass with IPAdapter to like, make the ref image for another IPAdapter to use on the animatediff pass

Yeah it's the 12gb one, on my first pass with IPadapter+control-net+2 sparse cntrl at 512*768 VRAM goes up to 8.6 gb but I think you can probably get it under 8 if you trim the fat a bit in the process. It takes approximate 1 min per each sec (longer with upscale). I think the nerdy rodent workflow does it at 6-7gb of VRAM if you want to try that one.

and added all the new artist coming from the newer versions of hll. Doesn't matter if there are few doubles the list is huge.
I can't say the yields for good mixes are high, less than 1% you'll find a keeper and even then further testing might not have it seem as good. Also use the latest hll-fluff as results can changes drastically between versions. This is really a brute force way of doing things, ideally one should be trimming the list down for bad artist.

I think imo one thing to try is use some artists you like and then use tags like you want in the positive (thick outline, flat color etc etc, whatever you want) and don't want in the negative (I use shiny skin, AI-generated, pale skin etc etc for whatever you don't want). I notice EF is very responsive to style tags. Could be a better way than to brute force a style.

It was more about me having to install it and not wanting to restart my gen server last night to take screenshots of the extension. I wrote guides for controlnet, adetailer and dynamic prompts instead. Any write-up will be appreciated. I'm really liking '(by asanagi, by shinomu $cinomoon$, by asura $asurauser$:0.8)'
Examples with various characters, many using NAI loras. From what I can gather, it combines asura and asanagi's shading, largely replaces asura's face composition with a mix of asanagi's and cinomoon's, and adds cinomoon's clean hard lines

I use pretty much the same settings as I do for NAI loras, just with all the vpred and zsnr options on, sometimes I bake them a bit longer but that has a limited effect for making them better. I still haven't tried boosting my learning rates; sometimes using a NAI lora for a character works better with certain details (hair) while other details (clothes) are be dropped entirely when using a NAI lora on EF. In the case of concepts, I switch to locon and by default go for 12 epochs (I usually do 6 for characters) and keep the best one. Style loras are the most hit-or-miss I'd say, with some having a better effect depending on which artist in HLL is used; sometimes the style lora just adds noise (not literal noises by pointless detail or might even mess stuff up like the hands)

I used this workflow with animatediffv3 and sparse controlnet. The hardest part is getting the similar reference images as it requires jumping between workflows, but anything else seems to work wonders.
