We'll see how the EN side handles things. So far the first 3 are really close and wave 2 was hired in and prepped at the same time so they all know each other. IRyS proves that hololive can do numbers on anything they put out, and they don't even have to try very hard to do it. Snappy 12-hour countdown to the teaser, heavily promoted debut stream with a flashy MV and an original song (something my oshi doesn't even have yet), and you've got a winner irregardless of anything us meanies have to say about her model or voice or whatever. The whole thing's making me feel a little disillusioned.

most people that speak only english and watch vtubers are probably not even aware that nijisanji exists. most people that like nijisanji probably don't give a fuck about EN tubers. comparing the two on a global scope is like comparing McDonald's to MOS burger.
