Does nobody ever watch this stuff and think about how much they must have all practiced and then came together to rehearse the choreography and the singing? Nope, because the fans don't think. It's not an idol company, because idols spend days and even weeks rehearsing for a show, ontop of regular practice. These bitches are goofing off, streaming Mario Kart and Minecraft, there is no way that they dropped everything and that this was recorded live. It's not because it's too good, but you can tell because it's synched up in a clearly artificial way and the energy is pretty lackluster. You try dancing like that and singing and you will quickly become aware of your limits as a human.

My point isn't about any of that though. My point is you think that them using the likeness of the character in a prerecorded and crafted 3D show is the same as someone putting in the work, when most of them probably literally phoned it in. And that's funny.

It's easier to do polished non-live recordings than practice a live recording to perfection. If it means they can spend that effort and time elsewhere, then good for everyone.
The problem of course is that in Gura's case, this still doesn't translate to even remotely acceptable streaming schedules or consistent communication/delivery, because her problem doesn't stem from being too busy because she obviously can't be that busy.

I could see her having already quit after pre recording a bunch of shit on agreement she continues to get cuts of the profits and then followed by a graduation announcement once they run out of material.
that's assuming she didn't sign away her voice so they could just skinwalk her indefinitely using AI once they run out of material. AI will be the next frontier for chubas and gura in concerts would make an excellent testbed.
