So in general it's pretty good at her default outfit and variations of it. You do have to be a little particular about how you prompt since her outfits in fan art are pretty varied. Small things like sometimes it will give her ribbon on one or both arms, prompting chocolate will just add tons of chocolate everywhere, etc.

As far as I understand NAI also has all these similar problems, artist combo determines quality and inconsistent in stuff possible depending on what artist you are using, No way to get the familiar look you built with local models and not to mention $25 price point (from the discussion on /h). I think for now, it's just something we have to accept that the coom models are just different than current models in terms of look.

I did go through the style grid that anon made, can't say a single artist works for me. Prompting them myself seems to yield even worst results, maybe I don't have the correct quality and neg tags. Personally I just think some have developed a sort of stockholm syndrome with the look of previous generation AI art that was painfully obvious just from its style. Consistency was a strength but boy do I hate how literally every model looks without style loras, with a tolerance specifically for the block merge of based64/66/67 I made myself, that I still always used with artist loras
NaiV3 is definitely a massive step down in fidelity, every post I've seen looks like they were bicubic upscaled x2, I've been dismissive of it since it dropped honestly. It's a step up in composition but so little gain for what was necessary to train it and what was lost
EF+hll's biggest weakness is backgrounds, though like I've said before I don't really see anyone posting amazing backgrounds and I don't care too much for really detailed backgrounds myself. I wonder how much can be made up by a lora. Still no idea what people mean by "quality". The only thing I miss is specifically how my wada and so-bin loras looked with my mix

I'll start by saying I adore your stuff man, you make some of my favorite things here so none of what I say is a knock towards you.
I definitely disagree with you not seeing the quality in the current model pictures, I mean look at the Ina or Shiori reading book picture those are at a level of fidelity that you can't get with NAI or EF+hll (I agree that we can maybe fix this one with LoRAs or something). It's hard to tell people to give that up for better compositional ability.
That being said we do have to get out of our comfort zone and treat NAIV3 or EF as something different and new and experiment to see what we can get out of it (NAI is a harder ask since it's paid though...)

Anyway love your stuff, you and the other anon really pushing EF to do stuff that I didn't think it could do.

Your model mix -> cosine B with EF-hll-a5a, would try to retain more details from the B model, yes. Block merging for style might work even better as i have seen somebody posting it earlier in the thread.
I'm not using hll lyco, but I know a lot of people are using it. I just recommended anon to use the mix with the hll lyco as I didn't add it to the model as others do. I know it's baked into EF-hll-a5a but mixing it would probably get it washed away.
Actually I mixed my model in comfy so I couldn't do cosine B. However it allowed me to merge Clip and Unet separately. Funnily enough, the best ratio was 0.4-0.4 for both so I didn't need the clip merging separation at all. I am unsure how supermerger handles the merging of the clip models.
