i'd say a dymamic mic with usb connection, because xlr you'd need an interface, and dynamic because those pick up audio only from the frontal direction with not much echo interferance. looking for one on amazon, this one is a prettu good deal because it includes a mic arm (you can still use it stand alone). if you really dont have the space for the arm, just search for other options with a simple stand, or you could simply hold it with your hand in a more confined space.
