In 2022 they had 3 halls for the expo, in 2023 they had 4 halls, will they expand again in 2024?

Also that makuhari messe event hall is way way WAY too fucking small for holofes these days. It only has a capacity of 9k when pekora by herself just sold out Ariake which has a capacity of 15k. I really hope they have some kind of plan for doing Holofes in a more apt venue.

So the concert is now not in the Makuhari Event Hall, now it's going to be in Event Hall 1, 2 and 3 smushed together.
Each event hall is 6750sqm so the total event hall, so the total floor area is 20250sqm. The old Makuhari Event Hall was 15598sqm, so the increase in floorspace is 4652sqm.

The capcity of the old hall was 8k, apparently if they really maximally squish people into Event Halls 1 to 3 they can fit in as many as 25k. Pretty big increase. I think the actual venue experience might be worse though, it's not really what they were designed for.
