Mori had to beg and plead for Vshojo collabs to be allowed and Coco collabs were only allowed in the same month before she graduated, it also wouldn't surprise me if NijiEN's manager also discouraged collabs so that the girls could form their own identities outside of Hololive
Pomu and Amelia are also following each other on Twitter, and Kiara replied to Elira the other day, so there's no malice there

I like that in general about NijiEN; they're always jumping in each other's streams and chats unscheduled and banter really well. They have a ton of chemistry, and seem way closer as friends than, say, Mori and Kiara, or Ina and anybody.

Just say you don't watch Nijisanji and save yourself the embarrassment. NijiEN has had multiple collabs with multiple branches at this point, including in Minecraft - and they often make mention of talking with their senpai over Discord as well, playing board games and the like.

Holo just has more people. Hence why all the good Minecraft events are on the JP server. No one cares about the EN nor ID ones, and their numbers don't rival that of JP.

I've seen the creative feedom pushed with Nijisanji but after looking at NijiEN for a few weeks, I'm really not seeing it. It just seems like they only play Apex and Genshin Impact. I thought they had more permissions compared to Cover. The only real loss for Cover is Muse Dash. They haven't really done something that is comparable to say what Ollie did with human Ollie stream or that Kiara schizo rant over a sleeping Ina stream. If they do, it comes off as a poor imitation. I would like NijiEN to take a little more chances, instead of sticking to the average vtuber playbook because you can get that same content from indies if you wanted to.

Creative freedom is like freedom of speech. You're not gonna use it all the time, hell, you probably won't use it most of the time. But just the fact that you have it takes a lot of pressure off you because you don't have to watch what you say all the time, even though you never planned on saying anything bad in the first place. It lets the girls be more comfortable when they stream, and that's all that matters to me.

For me so far this is the one big advantage NijiEN have over HoloEN. Their individual peesonalites aren't quite as unique and are still developing somewhat, amd the OP is right - they really need to start switching it up more gamewise - but synergy-wise theyre far ahead of HoloEN. HoloEN feel like coworkers who'ee on decent terms with each other, NijiEN feel like besties.

I mean I don't tune into Apex and GI all that much as well but they are mostly comfort picks for those girls, who streams long hours daily. But I did enjoy watching Hollow Knight, Miitopia, Eurotruck, Shantae,..; they definitely tried to bring more diversity to their content. Even Pomu 9 hours of "God knows..." is an imitation of Chima's Fressia but man did she put in the soul and effort. The collab and impromptu ones are pretty kino as well. They just jumped into each other's stream and bantered
