It's unfortunate because instead of a situation like the earlier JP gens where they slowly built up an audience over time, EN appears to have been hemorrhaging viewers which finally seemed to level off in the last month.

I believe for ENs this process is just happening much more rapidly due to fact that on their debut Hololive had already built up brand renown and the market was starved for english vtubers.
