JS is garbage given it had a 20 year head start in language design and decided to somehow have as many pitfalls as C even while being garbage collected. The amount of problems that shit of a language caused to the web it's insane. The only reason web development today is manageable is because later ECMAScript versions fixed and made workarounds for a lot of the scuff and Microsoft decided to make Typescript.
