Still thinking about the donkey jester boy. I go back to the idea every once in a while. It's probably my favorite but I'm not happy with the look. Jesters often dressed themselves as donkeys or other humorous animals to get laughs from people, so I think the idea of a donkey boy who dresses as a jester is a lot of fun. I think adding a harness and some restraints to his arms would be a fun way to communicate the idea that he's just a literal dumb ass, but the rest of the outfit is hard to get right. It's frustrating. I wish I were better at drawing so I could properly draw clothing. Doing it all in 3D is very difficult and time consuming in a different way.

Is it eyecatching? Not in particular, however. Unless you're specializing on weird B&W stuff like World of Horror and Who's Lila, it stands out but not necessarily well.

Flashy, cutesy models and voices are eyecatching, which is why they tend to have a headstart, but if you're boring (definition of that may vary, I watch a girl who mostly just makes autistic white noise) people won't stick around.
