Her skill level is probably appropriate to her rank.
Her neutral is still random unsafe neutral skips, but she's varying the approaches more. Even like ~1500 MR Kim players barely play neutral. The most they do is fish for st.mk DR buffers.
Her offense in the corner is significantly improved. She flowcharts, but she does mix up strike/throw. Outside the corner, she auto-pilots into unsafe stuff like f.HK follow ups or the target combo.
She does wake up super a ton, but Plat players don't know how to bait it or punish it so she gets away with it.

I've been to three cons. Two of those were AX. I entered in two fightan tourneys at them (well three if we count two tourneys at once which was Dengeki Bunko and Persona 4 Ultimax). Only did so at one of the AXs. I think the AX one had people cosplaying. There might have been someone in a different game tourney cosplaying at the other. I would say that it isn't weird either way. You are at an anime con. People cosplaying are probably doing literally any event/whatever there besides cosplaying. I don't see why that would affect people playing fightan unless the cosplay is like bulky or restricting enough to bother them playing. And even then, they would probably still do so.

Say something about me being a vtuber? You mean cosplaying one? I like Ollie a lot. You don't even need super in depth stuff if you just want to vortex a little. Just need to mix things up sometimes. something ending in 214L to knockdown. Do 236M for oki and try to at least trade to push them into 236M. Maybe 22M to jump away to give yourself breathing room if you need it. Not super complex stuff, but enough to go in mashing with at least something to rely on. My brain goes blank so I tend to go for knockdown into oki midscreen since I'm still working on combo consistency. I could try to answer questions if you have any.

Was messing around a bit in training and pulled this off. Still having to work out the scaling and whatnot, but it's pretty conservative of SC and meter when timed correctly. I appreciate how linear this game is without 10 gorgillion different combos to memorize, let's me hone what I can since I don't have the skill or time like I used to

Little shit, but I'm really happy I almost landed my midscreen combo. I got the dash cancels right. I just did a normal by accident instead of 214L or 236S to finish. I even had meter to 236S. AIEE. Ollie is fun though. I did remember that 5H is jump cancelable though. Funny with her fast fall. We do melt though. Gonna cover my eyes with a cool rag (whatever you call it) to help with my headache then try to find a few matches later too.

Still considering who to use as an assist for Ollie. Been messing with Kanata. Her super is funny. I need to use it more. For Botan, I was using Miko. that is namely because Miko's assist works like Erio in Dengeki Bunko. For Pekora, I was using Moona. Partially because new, but also because she is pretty nice. Pulls in for people trying to zone and an alternative super that is long range compared to her own (plus being able to setup tnt about where they would land after the animation ended. Just had to get the timing down). I was using Kiara because of countering zoning specifically. Have been trying Kanata after. Kaela might be decent. The buffs are nice especially the defense if you abuse the armored brains(?) and the super has its uses. I don't know the damage on it though. Has anyone seen anyone use Azki? I'm not considering her, but super lockdown in a certain niche could be useful. More of a safety net to protect yourself when the opponent has a great threat to you when they have enough meter. Hmm. I never really thought about it with the other two, so it is kind of fun thinking about it with Ollie. Though I'm not good at decisions currently, so it might be bad haha. Kanata for now though. Kiara I may go back to if I start running into Sora a bunch again.

I don't know if any other darklings lurk here, but it's almost Nade's birthday if you were thinking of doing something for her. Perhaps she'll see it once she's done with... whatever she's doing.

I already use Miko on Botan and want to use someone else. Ame is great, but someone else would be nice. I think azki would have been nice fighting that coco that just horded meter for super grab. Their main plan gone, but super niche to garbage tier for sure. Kiara is fine. Her off collab (assist) is fine since most character have projectiles. Just depends on the character how useful it is.
