First event : Picrel. Moona Tweeted it and instantly got flamed left and right, Bobon Tweeted something similar and got away scoot free. This is the first we've seen Nijisanji audience harassing Moona, this happened sometime around 2020 and the NijiIDs were the dominant streamers during that time period.
Second event : Happened throughout late 2020 and mid 2021. Hololive ID received a lot of complaints about the talents not speaking Indonesian despite belonging to Hololive ID, the talents attacked were Moona, Ollie, and Reine. This issue was spreading to social medias like local VTuber Facebook groups, and for some unknown reason, there were a lot of people who went "Better NijiID, they all speak Indonesian" or "NijiID pride!" or something like that.
This is what finally broke the relationship between the general HoloID audience and NijiID audience. After that, there's just near 0 tangent between HoloID and NijiID audience. You'll still get people who watched HoloID but also regularly watches Selen or any other Nijis but NEVER any NijiID members, and I'm one of those people.

At that time the market dominance already leaned towards Hololive ID because PekoMoon and many other stuffs like Coco & Ollie marriage-divorce and Coco & Reine Reddit meme review happened and these ID members enjoyed a hefty amount of increase in popularity. (Also explains why they're getting anti-ed so much)
At this point the NijiID audience finally realized that NijiID has becoming desperate trying to turn the market share back to them after the 5th wave has been deemed failed to compete with HoloID 2nd gen. Plus NijiEN just debuted and NijiID needs every help they can get to turn the situation back north, so they went whatever.
