Nijis like Vox do voice readings and such, but also do side gaming content to break up the schedule a little. Viewers might grumble "uh, there's Valorant on the schedule again" but they're not going to oshihen over a single gaming night or three a week, as long as they're still getting the core content they're there for.

Maybe I've been browsing the threads too often and became influenced by the schizo posting but when I stop by some of their streams they just seem like they're putting on a face, more than what you normally get with vtubing. This doesn't apply to everyone in Gen 5, though. I've just noticed it more often than with Gen 4ers. It could be I'm just used to the older chuubas though.

what's like the bare minimum in terms of equipment to start vtubing techwise? i know my ideapad three isnt gonna cut it for streaming but if i wanted to begin as a vtuber how much of a moneysink is it?

If I'm being totally honest, I'm mostly thrown off by how disparate the chuubas themselves are posting in the thread compared to how they act in streams. I can't say I've had anti-male schizo affect my opinions on anyone but the whole Camui-Layla thing definitely did. I think Rura and Tupo, for example, feel really genuine but there are some that I feel like I wouldn't be able to talk to without being seen as a number, if that makes any sense..

Library of Ruina is actually the game that singlehandedly got my channel to affiliate just by streaming it for a month, no networking or anything, and the highlight video I made from that time is somehow getting ~25 views every day now.

The game is really long, the tutorial is inadequate, the combat UI is confusing, and the deck building UI is one of the worst I've ever seen, but despite all that it's still one of my favorite games of all time. Purely from the gameplay too, although many others praise the story/characters as well. If you really like complex card games, or you find the story/lore of the Project Moon universe interesting, I would highly recommend the game! Just be aware that the whole game will probably take ~120 hours to beat, also it's really complicated and hard for viewers to follow along if they haven't played the game before, so your chat will probably have a bunch of dedicated Project Moon fans (and backseaters)

If you do end up streaming Ruina I will watch every single one of your streams
