Well posts like that get made because A. Japan is a tiny fucking country compared to the US, much less the rest of the world. And B. The studios that you can rent are spread significantly further apart in the US than they are in Japan. This only worked out because Twitchcon happened to be bringing a number of vtubers from all over the world into one location for 1 specific weekend and Twitchcon this year was in a place that was close to one of these studios. In Japan you can send a couple e-mails make a reservation and get it done any time. Nobody in the US is going to fly across the country to participate in a 2 hour stream event.

this was supposed to be like her big event and it blew up in her face, spent (allegedly) a ton of money into funding and setting up the event and for like barely 9-8k views throughout, and most of it was funded by fansly, a platform which already wasn't gonna get much of a benefit considering the viewer base filian panders to (13+, snackers are older sure but that's the dif between fans who can attend and interact and the ones that watch her streams as a whole, her discord for example) and now definantly won't considering how bad she shat the bed
i don't think she's gonna be like immediately in the red or anything but i suspect a healthy chance for viewer drop-off unless she can quickly come up with something to make her worth watching
she did once entertain the idea of a podcast iirc but desu i don't see any kind of chilian content being a big hit with the kind of reputation she built into
