I just don't see what Kotoka said as her shaming and shunning her. The Xsoleil members at the time were clearly stressed out and upset at the entire situation, especially because they tried really hard to defend her and accommodate what she wanted. And from their perspective she wasn't completely honest when she tried to get their help. I always find it odd how Sayu was made into a matyr but people don't spare any sympathy for what her genmates went through.
