I would use less strong language, but I have to admit I'm less excited about this collab's partners. Anya, Reine and Kronii can be SO LOUD during large collabs, like with Viscera Cleanup. (They're fine if it's just one-on-one.) Kiara has improved IMO and is more considerate nowadays. Moona I have no idea about since this is Fauna's first(?) collab with her.
All that being said, I'm all for Fauna branching out with collabs. Was this initiated by her or someone else? AOE2 is a great game and I'm sure it'll be fun.

Best counter to elephants is kill Persians before they get a chance to mass them. Next best option is spam pikemen from MULTIPLE barracks. Elephant wins 1on1, even 1v2 but it costs more than several pikes so in normal game pikemen would be cost efficient and eventually win. The girls however are atrociously bad and kept making cheap spammable unit from single barracks even though they had resources for 10 barracks production.
