They are semi-famous, and may help your oshi reach more fans if she is oriented towards FPS games and shit.
Their impressions are dictated by how professional they are on collabs. If they are too intimate with your oshi, people will naturally start shitting on them, as the trade of new fans is not worth the discomfort of being a third wheel.

Homos meanwhile, have zero success, no legacy for themselves to speak of and are generally considered leeches. Hence any and all collabs between them and the girls will have that leeching dynamic.
