I think you’re right about the end portion but I don’t agree with how you came to that conclusion. To me, Myth is the most talented gen ever and I don’t even think it’s even close. Like they’re as close to a superstar gen as you can get for talent and no one can ever take that away from them.

But I think what went wrong was 3 things.
1. Management was atrocious and couldn’t supply Myth with enough resources to even compensate for how much they were doing for the scene. It felt like they were carrying the entire international scene on their backs but were cut off from any help
2. They never learned how to adjust their living while in hololive and kept doing all the unhealthy shit that destroyed them eventually.
3. A large flaw with Myth, and something that’s so glaring when you compare them to any other holo, is that for whatever reason Myth has always seen their accomplishments as a personal success and something everyone should celebrate FOR THEM. There are so few moments in all of Myth’s history where they achieved something and, in return, gave back to their fans and community with something special.
Yes, they never had the resources like the studio to make things work like the JPs do but they NEVER EVEN BOTHERED to try and show their appreciation with special streams. It’s always been about them and only them.

I think all of these things have had a detrimental effect on Myth and ultimately holoEN because for every fan they lose, a portion of that is lost entirely for hololive. Not everyone moves on to watching other ENs, some just leave entirely.

The debuff spamming this year is mostly competitive with...the other debuff spamming she was doing in 2021, like W101, Ender Lilies, Bastion, something way later like Opus #2 being sub-5k in the middle of Elden Ring month, etc. Even then, the recline isn't significant until FF16 #5 and Pikmin 4x4 completely shit the bed by 1k margins, but then she rebounds back to "normal debuff" with other Pikmin streams between those two bed shitters so idk. Even something like the Choya shill stream is merely 200 off her Valconne shill collab stream.
