Very few people actually care. Most posters don't, a few have a bug up their ass about it. Nobody mounts a serious defense against changing it, but the people that want to change it don't have their shit together, and it's really much less important than they want it to seem.
They suggest it at stupid times and without trying to get consensus, like when the thread's about to hit bump limit or the other day when an anon baked /corpo/ and it died in 14 posts. Or saying it should be still be +/corpo/ but just with the corpo they like in front.
