Hot take here, as a former traveler, the GGN days weren't very good, and I doubt hololive even considered that part of their PL in the hiring process.

The VN company they were with gave them 2 models with supar art and shitty rigging, very extreme restrictions on what games/stream types they did, cheaped out on assets/backgrounds/other things, and forced the, to commit to the mid VN kayefabe, instead of what they wanted to do.
