Honestly even early on Laplus was trying to go for the recorded video route, I remember all the pre-recorded minecraft videos and that one cursed MC animation she put out.
I think management kinda fucked up with her, because by the time she was hired, company culture had basically started revolving only around Livestreams, and so Lap was forced to participate.
Then again she's also young, and probably believes that current internet will always be the same (i.e.twitch will always be the better streaming site) which might be informing her decisions.

ReGloss also seems less oriented towards Livestreams and more towards other modes of content (shorts, music, music, probably some irlshit too like cosplays etc.).
Retarded marketing campaign aside, I feel like Cover's trying to move away from purely depending on Livestreams for content and doing the typical Cover style content diversification (holoearth, holoplus etc. are also part of this).

Problem is, 90% of their existing audience are Livestream enthusiasts, and will be unlikely to watch other content types. Cover is basically trying to build up the Shorts box, Tiktok box etc. to not be completely dependent on Livestreaming.

Laplus is likely helping them out with this as well, testing the viability of twitch only streaming and generally just trying to provide content from as many different mediums as possible.
Time will tell if these steps will actually expand the box or just get the existing audience angry.
