It’s expected this would happen. They’re very cute and they work hard but they are a novelty and the accent they put on isn’t good for casual listening since they don’t speak clearly. It’ll be a struggle for many viewers to keep listening to that long term. JP viewers might, but sadly they’re EN. It’s best they slowly fade out the kayfabe. I think they’ve been in adjacent industries long enough that they know what they’re doing, so I trust that they’ll be able to salvage this.
