With so many vtubers taking the spotlight now it seems that there's nothing really original or heartwarming about the streams anymore. It feels like a lot of streams are curated, rather than the raw energy you'd see from hololive or any other vtuber from like 2019/2020.
These days I only listen to singing streams if I can tolerate the voice and mute if it's a song I don't like - which is for the most part Kagura Mea and occasionally Baelz.
It's weird, but I genuinely don't know how anyone gets invested in these anymore.

Hetshipping can actually work in theory, but it's almost impossible to put it into practice due to how most male and female vtubers are presented and behave, which lead such relationships looking like the most normie, boring shit imaginable.
