What many don't know is that many of the big Twitch vtubers from /wvt/ actually started off on YouTube but moved to Twitch in early to mid 2021. This helped their growth immensely

For a few years, I put out original content which consistently reached upwards of 1m+ impressions and was featured on various "buzzfeed"esque sites (including Buzzfeed themselves) which I wore as a badge of pride at the time but not so much anymore. Remnants of this stuff can still be found around the internet. I stopped because after 2 years, I was running out of ideas and couldn't deliver quality as consistently.
You can do all the mental gymnastics you want to convince yourself that all this has been worthless, but even failed opportunities provide things of value. Only a pessimist who quite literally WILL never make it will be unable to find that value, and subsequently apply that to their next venture. Vtubing also isn't hot and new, it's been popular for years. If I wanted to capitalize on that aspect, I would have done it in 2020 or 2021.
Anyways.
I think you will suffer a worse fate than I will, even if this ends up being a flop for me. Your mentality is so poor, that you will not only not make it, you will also refuse to dive back in or get into something else with new knowledge or an improved mindset. I think vtubing and gaming should be separate.
Vtubers are host they are personalities vtubers are online personalities. You would not expect a game show host to play the game on the game show would you? I don't believe that vtubers should play games and host at the same time. It just seems like the game would distract from the vtubers ability to host. One day I would like to see it more common that vtubers host over a game and ideally if they host in the style of Hunger Games. Could you imagine a vtuber host in the style of Hunger Games over a game such as Ark?
It would be especially amazing if the vtuber had access to a statistic sheet that shows the odds of each player and their chance to win. That way viewers could if they so choose to gamble on who they think will win.
Vtubing could be so amazing If people could just learn to work together. Instead what we have is 1 million one man bands. When we could be having one band with a million different players. We don't have vtubers who host over gameplay. Not for the most part no. We have gamers who sometimes host in the middle of them gaming. We have players who part time as a personality.

My main issue is that I have no material to use as a "bombastic" start like other shorts do.
My offline buddy suggested the "boo-womp" bit, so I put it in, and snipped it a bit shorter than my previous edit so viewers will get to the "meat" of the video faster. I added a zoom in to give the boo-womp added emphasis, but I feel like something is missing.

Alright, before i head off to streaming myself some notes. In my opinion what an accent does in some cases, is make it hard to understand what you are saying because as you speak faster, the words become more slurred. If you speak slowly you are clearly understandable but once you speak up it's hard to make out words and it's just ends up being background noise sometimes.

A lot of people watch streams as background noise so this isn't a bad thing, but consider if you respond to chat you might try to focus a little more into speaking slower. Also at times you sound like you are a bit labored, so the overall higher pitch can make it hard to listen to. When you do drop your tone at the latter half of the video it's way more pleasant. I'm using a small sample size though, feel free to disregard all of it, but my theory is that if you relax a little more and get more used to speaking English naturally, you will become more pleasant to listen to. I think this will come with time, so don't worry about it. I used to start with a decently heavy accent 2 years ago, and these days people can barely tell where I'm from.

I think everything else looks pretty good though, maybe I'd keep checking game audio so it doesn't overwhelm your voice, in case as i said if you are hard to understand and someone wants to listen to you more closely the last thing they need is game audio to overwhelm them. Unless you really want to showcase the game's music and sound stage, it's fine to reduce this more than you think you need to. Play around with this, as you start streaming, I used to do small recordings of 30 seconds before every stream until my voice sounded easy to listen to.

I think you are good otherwise. Your model looks really good, so why is it so small? I don't know why I even have to give this advice, but if you got something to show off, go wild. Honkai doesn't even put anything in the bottom right, don't follow what corpo chuubas do, i have no idea why gura only covers like 50 pixels on her screen when she plays, i'd let that gremlin take up half the screen. Your model is your calling card as a new vtuber people wanna see it and I hope you wanna show it off! Just something to consider as you make your scenes. If you are curious about overlays and portioning the screen I can help (former gfx is my passion designer) but I'd be surprised if you weren't settled on that already.

- lower pitched voice is smoother and less tense
- accent is slightly hard to understand but not as much as negs want you to think (heck you could even try lean into it again later when your pronunciation improves cause I think it'd be pretty cute flair)
- you're sweet and vanilla (just never respond to negs again, caring about their insults is giving them power) which is great if you're going for seiso, but terrible for growing a fanbase cause most viewers already got their comfy oshi, I'd recommend shooting for a niche e.g. memer ("it's joever" if you get a bad gacha), yuri/degen (talk about how bronya's pigtails are perfect shape for "something", then pull a misdirection joke), game host (announce your cool moves like an anime) etc.
- a little more commentary would be great
you have a great model, got a good bump in publicity, and have your eyes on a goal, just read some more of the links about how to deal with haters as an idol
