My big rrat is that Cover was sick of 5 talent gens since so many lead to terminations/graduations, that 4 was the amount coming anyway. There’s two scenarios:
1) They scouted them specifically and only started work on the models when they were a sure deal
2) There was always a hellhound in this wave anyway, but after deciding to go with them as a pair, they scrapped the original 5th design and worked on a sister for the dog while making tweaks to the original dog to make her cuter

They have scrapped finished designs before after the failed audition where they showed the designs first to find the voices for them
