Then 20h or something later(feel free to skip the sport scenes), you unlock Muv Luv Unlimited, which is basically the actual start.
Then when you get done with Unlimited, it's MuvLuv Alternative part, which is REALLY what we read MuvLuv for.
In total, get ready to spend 50+ total in reading, but if you enjoy what you see in Unlimited then it's very worth reading all of it. There's also the spin offs, which personally I have no read all of them yet but if you enjoyed the main trilogy then the spinoffs are pretty good as well. Personally I like MuvLuv Chronicles, have yet to read Total Eclipse but I checked the anime, and Schwazermaken also has an anime, but needless to say the anime most definitely isn't the same as reading the actual VNs.
