That's average to good for males. They tend to range 0.3 to 0.6 follows per hour from what I have seen. Females are usually something like 0.6 to 2 follows per hour. Twitch tracker tracks this stat so you can always look at some aspies or more established vtubers to get an idea of what is normal.

no. why even write about technical things you don't know about?

"visually lossless" for ordinary movie-like scenes, at 1080p, in x264 (ie. ~CRF=16, according to the developer of x264) requires about 40,000kbps, not 6000 kbps. in my testing, for action games where you move the camera constantly, it's more like 100,000 to 180,000 kbps

you are not at "diminishing returns" streaming at 8500 kbps at 1080p, you're not remotely close to it, do a PSNR analysis of a ground-truth recording vs a 8500kbps recording and you'll see i'm right

and fyi your pic is wrong and has been wrong for almost 10 years, twitch accepts bitrates up to 8500, if you go above that viewers will get black screens, but go test it right now, 8500 works and you're simply lowering the quality of your stream by not using it, viewers on shit connections can watch a transcode. enthusiasts who watch vtubers with 5 viewers all have home PCs with landline connections anyway

YES, cut that out and just puppet the image yourself in your editor. It's a mess right now and you can make it much smoother by redoing it.

Outside of those, I think the 0:27~0:35 could be cut down a bit. It's nothing major, just a little too much of the mumble-speak that overall does the same thing and doesn't really 'advance' the clip.
That, and I'm not overall sure about the way you decide to portray chat speaking. I get it's a speech bubble and it's pointing up to where your chat was in the stream, but it's a bit clunky? I'm mostly thinking of at 0:47 where the bubble gets cut off and so you lose even that bit of context for it. It could be too wordy, but maybe put "Chat:" in front of it to denote it?

When people raid they either raid their friends or someone playing the same game, this actually benefits vtubers more than regular streamers because vtubers have a propensity to raid their own kind. Search results and category browsing also only display streams which is more helpful than youtube which doesn't typically provide streams in search results. You also have to consider that hype trains will also push you to the front page for viewers that watch vtubers. The ecosystem is generally better since twitch doesn't have to also host non stream content aside from VODs.

Twitch has basically cornered the entirety of the "small stream viewer" market. There is an old and well established viewer culture on twitch that loves watching small streamers/vtubers that youtube just doesn't have. And these small streamers and vtubers have a huge and highly connected network that is pretty easy to join if you are knew that gives you at least some access to new viewers if you put in the work to network well. Youtube is just incredibly behind in this way and it's algorithm, while a nice little benefit, does not even come close to making up for lacking a robust small streamer community.

I didn't really know of Vtubing until I saw the shitstorm on Twitter about her CPR cover. I wasn't really a normie because I've always liked anime, but I never saw Vtubers or even knew what they were before. I was in a niche anime-idol fan community that started dunking on her (I'm not a fan of the cover personally but everyone on my timeline was quoting her saying she should kill herself). I didn't think much of it and was just like, alright I don't know enough of what this thing is. Fast forward a couple of months later and I saw people start doing the same thing to fallenshadow/shondo. I started looking into Vtubing more after that because I was like why the fuck are these idol fans getting so upset over anime streamers. I remembered Sinder and started going through and watching her streams and I just really liked her. I'm still relatively new to Vtubers and Vtubing but I consider Sinder and Shondo my two favorites that really got me to get out of a toxic fanbase and get out of my shell.

I credit HoloEN for getting me interested in Vtubing myself (already knew about it/always wanted to be a content creator), Luxiem for making me believe that I could make it work as a male Vtuber, and Terumi for making me take the final plunge, cause I'm also a huge idol guy.
