Not really, closest thing we've gotten is "A predator's touch' having a bit of mystery in regards to what's happening in it's current arc but time will tell if that turns out satisfying or not.
Closest thing we have in a finished work is "The Girl of Emptiness" having a very well implemented twist halfway through that's less mystery and more plot twist that makes you rethink the first half of the story.

I'm making healthy progress on my Gura screenplay that I hope to submit for the contest. The past couple days has mainly been formatting what I've already written to look like a real film script, adding in the proper actions, cues, and descriptions. I know most submissions are gonna be in a traditional novel/short story format so I hope that something unconventional like this would be interesting for people to read.

No, the scenario is intentional, it’s just a fair bit sadder than I expected

Yeah, that's the satisfying part. Back then I used to write a scene in advance and leave the scene before it blank, so I'd have to figure out how to connect them like a puzzle, but not make it feel forced.
The proof's in the pudding though; it'll all boil down to how the readers will find it.

If I kept them canonical to the the tiny moon men standards, none of the girls in my story would be able to reach shelves. The most I'm keeping in mind is their heights in relation to one another for example, Nene is taller than Flare, Polka, and Watame, with the sheep being the shortest. I also try to picture height at what would likely be acceptable or believable within the world, like how Botan is pretty tall, even being able to stand a head above anon. While by their canon numbers, she's still a shorty, it just doesn't fit the idea of an alpha lion girl. At the end of the day though, as long as Marine isn't suddenly taller than Botan or Noel, you're fine to change things up as you need to.

I've found myself hit with that challenge for a little bit now, but I've kinda gotten around it by becoming more conscious of who would have something to contribute and say to the conversation, and who might just give non verbal responses. If you were reading an abuse fic and horrible, edgy things were happening in it, would second or third person be better? Specifically, would you be more likely to be empathetic with an abusive protagonist if it was third or second person? I'm looking to gather perspectives here.
Second person allows a more intimate look into the thought process of the protag but as an abuse fic, a lot of the thought train comes across as very edgy, angry, and perhaps hard to take seriously. Third person loses that intimacy but might make it easier to empathize.
Assume it's done out of misguided anger or revenge rather than just being torture porn abuse.

Honestly I don't really have a deeply set opinion on this. I really fucking loved "Lies come to Light" and that is pretty much the best 'evil' second person fic I've read due to how raw everything felt, but I also liked "Brown Black and Blue because I Love You" which while being a limited third person fic centered around the abused one also managed to make some very fucking good scenes of abuse play out.
Honestly go with what feels better to write, due to how the style here is used the second person use preferred here is closer to first person than third person so there's a pretty big difference that's probably worth playing around by writing some scenes and seeing what clicks better with you, the writer.

The same way you shoehorn in any character. You look at your setting, see who you can conceivably fit in as a cameo then put them in for a scene or two.
