If you have a built in audience to get you huge numbers streaming is unironically one of the best jobs out there. Nina has that, and she'd have to be quite literally insane to throw it all away and become an office drone or a retail worker or whatever. Couple that with her already having connections to VShojo, and she'd be a high priority for recruitment if she wasn't already signed up when leaving.

Anyway fleshie is still possible, but there'd undoubtedly be fears about how her old audience would react to her no longer being a vtuber, and a group like VShojo is perfect in that she'd still be able to do flesh streams or take selfies or whatever if she wanted. These are two things that kinda give you the reasons for each other, people that could enjoy Nina probably didn't enjoyed it for the Niji/YT aspect. Solely in the collabs with Mouse she was really beloved. Same happened with Henya into Pika, and one could said the same or Nazuna in the other side, it really depends on how she handles her new boost. It's great to be motivated, but ideas aren't guaranteed successes.
Again, it's not about me predicting failure, but just finding it interesting that Nina (and Akari) are our two strongest /in/ rrats but are also riskier endeavors than, say, signing someone from /lig/. Because I don't think there's anyone (outside of maybe Shondo) in /lig/ who would actually lose viewers by joining VSJ. well, she was afraid for the longest time to stream ck3 because of religions issues (no one would have really cared but it was right when she was hounded by luxsis). She wanted to do a silly "cannibal pope" playthrough but that got shot down and it took 6 months until she finally either got the ok or gained enought confidence to do a "safe stream" about viking raiding from iceland to india.
She planned a terraria girls server, no one knows in truth why it didn't happen (probably a mix of her lack of technical knowledge, management autism about not letting outsiders involved with the technical aspect of the servers, and probably the other girls lack of interest didn't help either).
She also had a big project for her wave bday and they were all on board.
Hard to tell honestly which of her recent projects got killed by management, all we know was she planned a big one, prepared it for like 2 weeks a presentation to the high management and got flatly told no.
Add to the mix she was also in theory busy with singing practice/improvement, recording covers/OG song (at least that was the plan for this year) and in theory a marathon she was training for to compete with Da fairy, i think you can probably understand she was a tad overbooked.
Her living far from the city (and not owning a car) while being extroverted, and mandatory corpo meetings happening at jp-time probably didn't help.
Anyway, for now she's enjoying herself travelling around and meeting her girls, and we know she still has plans to meet some of her former coworkers till february, but we'll see what will really happen.
