It's definitely a mix of both. Regardless, there are some really good girls in HoloEN even if their streams don't scratch the same itch, and I hope they can become friends with Fuwawa and Mococo.

Get Biboo and Nerissa or one of the other good ENs in a less attention demanding game like Mario Party or something and you will see that they're just fine in collabs.

Not really. Maybe small changes, but when you've spent a year+ in front of ten thousand people acting one way, it's a lot of pressure to change that in a way that would bring judgement. And it's a lot easier to move towards the way mainstream culture expects you to than in the opposite direction.
But they are healing me and that's good enough. Maybe they'll convince others that a niche for this sort of content DOES exist and CAN work in English if you're brave enough.
