Perms hate aside, I wouldn't be surprised if she's also kinda spoiled already on some Metal Gear plot points, given how two of her favorites (Pomu and Peko) already played it and she definetly mentioned watching some of Pomu's at least.
Though I don't know if that would make her more or less interested in playing it - while from the outside it doesn't look like anything that'd appeal to her immediately (looks like grim military action stuff, totally not cute eww), some familiarity would also help in making her realize it's not just that but has many stuffs she potentially likes - telenovela tier drama story to keep her engaged, wacky comedy bits that lighten the atmosphere, memorable lovable characters she can bounce off of, etc. And it's quite approachable, not too difficult or skill-demanding, even a dumdum can finish the games. And they're also not too long, around 15 to 25 hrs for the first trilogy games each for example, so good streaming material plus kamige buff.

I've watched many playthroughs of Metal Gear games by female streamers/vtubers, and pretty much everyone ended up really enjoying it once they got into it.
