Niji don't really coordinate their schedules with each other on a macro scale (you have units that try to not overlap like sanbaka, but they're the exception). in my experience per week, there's usually a weekday that feels dead as fuck (for this week it's Monday) and a weekday where it's just too loaded (yesterday).

I watch almost all of Ame's streams and her numbers fluctuate a lot because of inconsistency and game choice. She picks a lot of obscure games that are not hype or meme games, and she switches games often. Whenever she plays Apex or Minecraft, she easily gets 10k+, but stuff like Planet Zoo or The Last Campfire struggle to draw 8k. She also spends like 6 hours on Sundays doing a long superchat reading stream with low viewership.

If Ame was a trend hopper and played games the other holomems are all playing like RE8, Henry Stickman, and Night Delivery, she'll probably average 15-18k viewers. But alas, she plays what she wants and and she's not a numberfag.

That was Gura's first minecraft stream since January IIRC and she's honestly god awful at Minecraft to the point where she never gets anything done. If she had any sort of consistency streaming Minecraft and tried to get good at the game, her minecraft numbers would easily be higher.

As I mentioned before too, a lot of her viewers are VOD viewers. I took a Pekora stream from May 7th (27k peak) and compared it to Gura's May 10th MC stream (21k peak). Despite the 3 day lead, Pekora's VOD has 200k less views.

Taking that into account, we have:
Super mario, DMC3, sponsored game: known debuff.
A watchalong: Hyper debuff
2 Zatsudan: not exactly her regular content, and one of those had a pretty high viewership since it was at her regular time.
And then DBD, the stickman game, 2 collabs, a karaoke and the birthday party as buff stuff for her, and all of them did well.
That's also not taking into account that some of those streams were at awful times for her audience, like the farming zatsudan and the DBD collab (which did better than I expected), and of course the watchalong had low viewership.
All in all everything makes sense about her viewership this month, I don't see signs of a decline.

It's not that big of a difference desu. Pekora's June is crazy good (70k for FFX ending stream and 1.17 MC update buff) and Gura's is not her best month, but Gura's Henry Stickman stream has 1.2 mil views which is more than Pekora's highest (June 14 MC stream). The rest are more or less similar in VOD views despite Gura having lower live viewer numbers.

Yes, most holomems read them after the streams, which does not affect Average Median viewers (if it's 2 hours of gameplay + 1 hour of SC reading, the gameplay number is picked) or Peak viewership (only the highest number of that stream is recorded).

Amelia did 2 Superchat/Zatsu streams in June and both got much lower numbers than her usual streams.

She also did 3 watchalong streams which obviously drag the numbers down even more in the monthly average.

I find it crazy that people are so obsessed with Gura's live viewership. Even just going by live viewership she is one of the top vtubers in the world. Then you have to consider the fact that she is literally smashing vtuber records whenever she does something big.

The reason why is cause Nijisanji fans tends to value entertainers more than just cute waifus. Generally the men in the group are more entertaining during collabs and do the heavy lifting to make it a success. Even Mito has said that what she does would be nothing special if she was a guy.
