Botan is actually a good choice. I'm pretty sure she wouldn't want the position in the first place, but when put there, her main efforts would be to make sure way less things can just happen out of the blue and rear-end your entire life, or cut it short. Like, say, cancer that up and kills someone shortly, or the common story of being a rising star in some kind of sports until you fuck up your ligament permanently and are forced to give it up, etc. These things seem to upset her the most, as she not only can't resolve them, but can't even blame it on not being good enough to do it, as it's bullshit that just happens and nothing can be done.
Everything that can be overcome with hard work and talent will mostly remain the same, in her world you are expected to work your ass off and be good at what you do, probably even more than in ours.
Maybe she'd also share some of her chill with the world, that would be a huge improvement too.
Well, that's what she would do seriously, and if she decides to do some goofy shit I'd be on board too.
