Someone wanted a book besides Of Mice and Men last thread but I didn't manage to reply to it before I left, can I recommend The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time? I was obsessed as a child ever since our year six teacher read it to us (and didn't read the cuss words) and the way Christopher explains everything in formulas and diagrams. It's a simple murder mystery about a neighbour's dog being found dead but without spoiling it, it always stuck with me. I had an ASD boy in the library the other day who wanted some books and his eyes widened when I gave him that one, he was so happy! I also traumatized a man last year by recommending one that had cannabalism in and then he became a regular, we love that! I'm going to make lunch, tidy the house and put on Shiorin's sleepover as a couple amigos here said it was going to be cozy...thank you!

Just letting you anons know that getting strong enough to bridalcarry/piggyback a girl can be achieved in just 2-8 weeks with squats and deadlift sets of 5.

Yeah, EN3 is looking great so far, very balanced. I'm glad. Shiori truly is the wildcard though. Nerissa and Bijou have very clear niches (music and gaming), and the dogs are very motivated with a strong gimmick.
So far Shiori has creative streams, zatsu, light GFE and strong technical skills. I think she'll be extremely powerful once 3D hits, but like she said, educational stuff takes time to make so she's going to have to mix in some gaming streams. The question is how she handles those. I hope she'll play stuff she's comfortable with so she doesn't get frustrated by the inevitable backseaters and has a chance to talk with chat in the meantime. Most of us are here for her. That's not to say that everyone is an uggo, but the point is that they're filtered for entertainment quality and not just genetics or make-up. In general I feel like it's a bit sad that appearances matter so much for initial attraction. In my experience, you can easily pass over someone wonderful just because they didn't catch your eye, and then later, once you get to know them by happenstance, you grow to enjoy their appearance. I'm glad to have you in this thread, supposed femanon. Ironically, although I dislike to watch male collabs (specifically in Hololive), I tend to prefer mixed-gender discussions and gatherings. Somehow if you only have guys it's like they become too comfortable and start going off the rails. (I've seen the reverse happen too with my sister and an all-girl party.) If it's a mix, people are generally more polite, and it's also valuable with perspectives from both sides.

I'm getting there in the years, but I got by school a lot reading the online summaries like sparknotes. Sometimes if a book is genuinely engaging to me I will happily read it front to cover. Brave New World was like that for me.
