That ain't a good counterpoint. She only know of Holostars not Hololive prior to joining and knows nothing about anything in terms of internet culture, games etc. She knows a bit more now but only through a lot of bumping into shit being pathetically clueless about it.

The saving grace is she isn't an asshole about this, she doesn't think she's better than vtubing/the fans for it and she does have some otaku tendencies like anime, seiyuu etc. The common response of a normalfag not knowing nerdy stuff is to get defensive and spin their ignorance as something to be proud of, like they're better for not knowing and don't need to understand (kind of a reversed path of sour grapes).

Anyway Council still has some good points to it, it's not a worthless gen by any means, but they're like a 7/10 girl in a room and a 10/10 walks in. The new gen honeymoon buff is in effect absolutely and they will go down to mere mortal status if for example shiori starts spamming male collabs or something etc. But that remains to be seen, and Council already started off on the wrong foot in several ways by now which Advent has not. Advent at 3 days old is way way more exciting than Council was at 3 days.
