I'm not familiar with this specific setting but those stats don't look good to me, and in the TTRPG threads on here people were in agreement on that.
Her being a jack of all trades is fine, especially if she survives to a couple level ups. The problem is combat.
Hand to Hand in this setting is not very good. Her stats for it are awful.
She's essentially a marginally stronger Yuul. Did you see how Yuul fared against Hook? Granted you will never beat any proper monster with your fists, but with a better build she could at least put up a fight for several turns while Tiara pops them. Right now most human thugs could beat her 1v1.

Not really, mental skills are important & the game punishes you harshly if you are unskilled (-3). Watoto spreading her points on them mitigate that problem greatly. Unlike Yuul that min-maxing on one particular skill.
Battle wise depends on how much Mori allowed Watoto to use his luck skill, he might won't win the fight, but he can escape very well with that + good stamina & brawl skills. The willpower sucks though.
You should learn by now, choosing your battle is the most important part of the game.

So after Ina's billboard and Gura's Dante video there's been a lot of talk around here about making something for Ame's next birthday and the consensus seems that it should be something creative and most people were talking about games or stuff like that... Yes, if it makes sense to them. A foreigner only speaking in simple words is fine, and Watoto definitely seems like the type who can't speak no good. The golden rule is "Never go full retard."

From what I've gathered in Global it felt like this session was very straightforward, with Ame kind of accepting every single prompt that happened and people were saying either Ame should have done more or Calli should have given her more open ended scenarios. Even at the end I think she mentioned something like having four routes to take or something.

This feels like one of those streams where Ame will definitely read all the comments for. So if you've got any constructive criticism for her, here's your chance to let her know before the real game starts.

I hope she looses up more when she's with the girls maybe it makes her more daring.

Mori is in her element but she clearly has trouble confirming that somebody understands the things she's trying to teach. She also leans on "Do you X" as opposed to asking open-ended questions and letting the players feel around. Her making multiple plans is both a blessing and a curse: On one hand, players will ALWAYS rail jump so having multiple plans is a good idea, but on the other it's obvious she came up with multiple routes because she doesn't trust herself to improv in a way that gets the players back on the rails. Improv is a VERY important skill in GMing.

No. She should switch back to her normal voice when talking about OOC stuff. It's bad form to maintain your IC voice mannerisms while discussing actions or asking the GM questions OOC, because it makes it difficult to discern the boundary.

Something that players forget is that they are handing tools to the GM by putting stuff on a character sheet or acting out a specific character. Watoto's limited speech is DEFINITELY going to be used against the party at some point.

She seemed like she realized a few minutes in that she made a character for the wrong sort of game, but decided to roll with it anyway. That's fine and is pretty common if you're used to TTRPGs being "like D&D, right?"

No. You want players to be in character when they're speaking as their character, but to declare actions and such OOC.
For example, Mori hears Ame say "I want to search the boxes" and can respond "Roll investigation" rather than hearing Watoto say "Me want search box" and not know whether he's saying it to the others in-character or if Ame's saying that to her out of character.
However for a 1-on-1 session 0 it's not as important, and getting used to speaking as Watoto is important since she already knows how to speak as herself.

As for her quirk, it's as old as tabletop itself. Barbarians in DnD were illiterate for decades and spoke as bad or worse than Watoto. It opens up all sorts of avenues for roleplaying and gives the DM ample hooks to use so I can't imagine any DM disliking it, unless the player goes full retard which Ame hasn't yet.

I can assume she made a deal with a sludge Bane, one of the many servants of the Wyrm. The thing is, the Wyrm don't exist by default in this edition, but Mori can easily slide them in as a real world-ending threat.
As a bit of context, cutting a deal (willing or not) with a Bane turns you into a Fomori, which are one of the most basic enemies in old Werewolf.

Not him, but people watch Critical Role and think they're an expert on how ever TTRPG should be played. Also, they think Critical Role is a perfect model of how every table of randos should play, and anybody who doesn't play like that is a bad player who can't roleplay.
This is a moderately significant problem in the hobby, especially since it ALSO fuels into the other major problem in TTRPGs: D&Ditis, or the overinflation of D&D's relevance in the hobby.

Ina literally and directly said a verbatim "no" to a plot hook. Like she just flat out refused. Now don't get me wrong, i'm not a TTRPG autist so i liked Ina's tutorial, i think it was funny how bad she was. But seeing people suddenly claim it was good or even worse, better than Kiara's is laughable. I think even yesterday and maybe even hours before Ame's stream started Ina was still being roasted in the threads for being such an autist.

I'm not saying Ame's was amazing, it was funny how bad it was sometimes, just like Ina's. So far the only flat out good stream has been Kiara's, she was funny by being bad but also found her groove half way in and went from so bad is good to just good.

So yeah, objectively speaking Kiara >>> Ame > Ina. Mostly because at least Ame didn't get into one path just to immediately shut down every single plit advance Mori was throwing her, Ame's story was pretty straight forward all things considered.
