Dropped 3/5 HoloENs and picked up all 3 NijiENs instead. The Lazulight girls have good chemistry and are pretty entertaining, the games they're able to play is a breath of fresh air, and the smaller fan base is nice since you can actually talk to them more.

I watched Nijisanji before Hololive, but I went full Holofag before coming back around to Nijisanji recently if that counts.
Avoided Hololive because I wasn't too interested in idols, started watching them when I found out they were less restrained than I thought (as are idols in general), and now as they become closer to the image I had in my head I'm moving away from them again.

I started basically 50/50 then wss slowly shifting towards Hololive but gradually went back more and more to the nijisanji side. I rarely watch holos these days and it's mostly Botan. I've got notging against them but i really think Cover is keeping them too much on a tight leash. I started watching Hololive last year, but never really got hooked, not even when HoloEN debuted, though I did start watching them a bit more than before, then I turned my eyes towards Holostars and decided to give them a try and, after a little while, got hooked completely and thanks to them I discovered several other vtubers, like Ruri and Pochi, and got inspired to search for more which eventually landed me in Nijisanji and I started to watch several of it's members like Hayama and Belmond.
Nowadays I barely watch Hololive, I mostly watch Holostars, Nijisanji (JP, ID, EN and KR), some indies, etc.

I lost interest in 3/5 of HoloEN around January. Ever since the holocaust, Cover ranges from black company to absolutely incompetent.
When Lazulight debuted i started watching more nijisanji clips. I absolutely love how much nijisanji lives and big events mog the fuck out of the holo ones.
Now i watch Lazulight, Hada and Hari from KR and Ange, Mashiro and Mito from JP

Hololive became kinda repetitive and boring to me after a while, it doesn't help either that there's new drama sprouting almost every 5 weeks . I still watch my holo oshi from time to time, but now I just mainly watch my favorite livers and I've stopped following hololive outside of my oshi.

The Coco situation and now Haachama hiatus number 848624 in the span of a couple of months is killing me. I don't want to see all my favs graduate one after another just because Cover's new years resolution was to be as faggy as possible in 2021.

So I gave Niji a chance through Noraneko and am letting the clip recommendations flow through me.

I do like the Holo dynamic where you have the feeling that everyone knows everyone and it's all one big family and with Niji it feels like a ton of indies that sometimes collab with each other. But then again I don't think the stuff I have seen from Niji just this year would be halal for Cuck Corp in 2021 so it's a compromise I am willing to accept.

Look I'm gonna be very very honest here. I have started to shift my interest from Holo to niji alot due to the limiting permissions and the flow of everyone doing one game and beating it to death. I'm not saying it's not in niji either, but Holo has been doing so much that I can't even look at the first person play a game cause I know someone else will too. Watching them feels like I'm watching hamsters in a cage.

But with niji they just do so much more and they look like they have a TON of fun doing it. Plus they have so much leeway it's honestly refreshing. Like the 3D streams, the collabs, even the few bits of vulgarity just feel right there. They even can talk about they're lives and such and even have families they aren't afraid to talk about. Like that Brown elf guy who has his wife and he sometimes screams and the wife's tells him to be quite, it hits me and I laugh.
I still watch Holo, but at this point it's very limited to a few of them and not for long either. In the future I hope they understand with the departure of coco why she left and how they can prevent it by going back to parts of their roots and letting the girls be more open to do other stuff.
