this, for all the hubbub and fluff with brands I don't see any of it (probably because it's basically all in Japan, which makes sense but still). all we see are the streams (and occasional concert or con appearance) but it's mostly the streams. everything, all the fame and brand associations, came from having good streams. holo's name is built on the backs of miko, korone, peko, fubuki even aqua as back in the day she streamed daily.

EN is good for PR for Gura's subcount and Mori's music basically, beyond that, they still don't have even one pillar-like girl like the several JP has. then again it's hard to find a new main star when you never expand the branch for 2 years (!!) and instead put in homos and try to force-feed them to people who only ever, ever cared about Holo for the cute girls.

Kson and Nazuna slow growth is not because the lack of Hololive. Kson went Indie first so she doesn't have capital for more advanced stuff. When she joined Vshojo she still not expanding her portfolio. No 3D, No concert, half of her contents are fleshstream, rarely collab and rarely expanding her collab even when there's a lot of Indie and small corpo ready to collab with her. Her biiggest thing came from Yakuza contest and it's not even from her.
Kson supposed to be a referred figure among Indies. But so far she still not surpassing Suisei both when she was Indie and after joining Holo.
