Different platforms have different limitations. Can't upload a short to Twitch, can't post a video to TikTok, can't get any audience on Kick. Shit like that.

But there's one specific limitation that prevents streamers from streaming on multiple platforms at the same time, and it comes from Twitch. Twitch didn't want "streaming platform" to become commodified, so they did a thing. If you get Twitch Partner status (a rough equivalent of YouTube monetization), you are forbidden from streaming the same content on Twitch and elsewhere. So you can use Twitch and YouTube both, but never at the same time or for the same streams.
