To be fair to him, the very few times I've been in Vox's chat in recent months made me depressed as well. I think part of the reasons why he's menhera is because unlike most of NijiEN, he like the rest of Luxiem had a ton of subs and cash just handed to them just for being part of the first male wave. Granted he's also entertaining in his own right, but management blew tons of smoke up into head telling he's a "top dog" - which he was and arguably still is in the EN scene. But it's obviously going to mess anyone when they start at the top and then the entertainment business just does what it does worst.
Its not helped either with NijiEN being in the state its in. Morale is probably at its lowest due to some talents being bigger problems than Luxiem ever was, fans leaving, and management being black company-tier. If NijiEN well and truly had a better support network among the talents, I dont think he would be as depressed as he is.

Even with management's ineptitude, it doesn't help that the way Anycolor is designed it sort of encourages internal strife. New waves usually only have 6 months or so of relevancy at best before they get shoved to the side. And you can usually expect some old talents like Pomu to feel threatened whenever a wave of new girls show up since it can also mean that some of their fans get stolen away.
I guess the Pomu situation can just be waved off as "jokes" granted, but it feels like its been happening too long to be a joke at this point.

Then everything changed when they got a whiff of the underage Chinese yume/fujo audience. The whole scene is going to need an overhaul at this point for a male vtuber to get a sizable male audience.
