Just out of curiosity, who here legitimately believes Ironmouse is faking her illness? This isn't judgment; as I said, it's curiosity. I want to know how someone with as many connections as she has could get away with it for so long. Some people would know and it's a certainty that some couldn't keep the secret.

I've only watched like 45 seconds of her content since she debuted. Doesn't she have aids? The only bit of her stream I've seen was the time her stream bought her a hospital bed and she was happy because she is unable to not cosplay as the Emperor of Man on the Golden Thrown. She cried and everyone was happy for her. When was aids THAT debilitating, though? I thought we solved this problem, medically, in like 2007.

Highly discussable, as her disorder is not the main source of her problems, is the things that come with it. So if she gets a mild infection or bacteria, and it doesn't get treated properly, then she could potentially get on a worse condition that someone who has an active and healthy autoimmune system, or even die in the worst cases. In this case, for what she has said, it's mainly something in her lungs, which is the most common place to get infected with bacteria.

So it all comes down to paying for her life, in this case treatment.

>>52906625
Ironmouse doesn't have AIDs, but what she does have has similar symptoms. Ironmouse has CVID. It's a genetic condition, her DNA has an error that causes it.
In basic terms, the normal human immune system works in two parts: antibodies attach to things that shouldn't be there, tagging them as needing to be destroyed. White blood cells detect these tags and eat whatever they're attached to. Ironmouse's DNA error causes her to not produce the tags. Thus, her white blood cells pass by infections, not knowing to eat them.
Ironmouse receives plasma donations from healthy people to work around this issue. The plasma contains the tags produced by other people. With those in her system, her white blood cells get to work and eat the bad stuff.
Ironmouse's other health problems were caused by infections that were able to get out of control. Damage caused by a massive lung infection severely hampered her ability to absorb oxygen from the air she breathes. She can still breathe in the air itself, though, as her diaphram was not affected. This is how she's still able to sing.
Ironmouse's digestive system was also impacted, and she has trouble digesting a lot of foods. This, combined with her breathing problems and long hospital stays left her with very little energy and abiltiy to walk around. As a result, her muscles weakened from disuse, to the point where she couldn't walk. She's slowly regaining muscle mass.

Some other points:
- Many people in this thread have said she has an autoimmune condition. That's not true. Autoimmune is when your immune system is TOO active, attacking the stuff it shouldn't. Ironmouse's condition is an immune deficiency.
- CVID is typically adult-onset, not presenting symptoms until adulthood. Ironmouse did stuff in her early years that she wouldn't be able to do now. It's not an inconsistency.
- Ironmouse is not a "bubble girl". While she has to be extra careful about infection and generally stays indoors, she's not confined to a sterile environment. She often gets sick, but that's what the plasma is for.
- ironmouse isn't dying, and she's never claimed to be dying. She just has a shitty time living. She condidtion is chronic, not terminal.

Ironmouse can air breathe in and out just fine. What she has trouble with is getting the oxygen from that air while it's in her lungs. Breathing 100% O2 give her a better chance at actually capuring any of it.

ok, im no that intune with what she says or does, but heres a couple things ive heard/picked up on. i wanna first point out yes i dont particalularly like her, dont really know why but whatever.
first of all, she gets a new model like every couple of months, claims she used to be real poor, but that her medical bill was like 10k a month (this might be vastly overexaggerated, i cant remember the clip i watched). NONE of that adds up together, if u aint rich you have a mindset of keeping onto things if they arent broken, not spending 6k for a new highend model every other month. medical builds in NA are sky high too, idk much about puerto rico or wherever she lived in her childhood, but i doubt they had completely free healthcare, and if the medical bills really were costing that much, how were her family poor. i dont buy the idea of a loan, considering every influencer would make some content over repaying the loan back to their parents. so she either wasnt poor, or the medical bills were not much, if they existed at all. she consistantly has contradicted herself on certain matters on stream. the last thing is when she was moving house? i think a couple months ago. aparently she DIDNT CHECK THE PLACE SHE WAS MOVING TO, NOR DID SHE GET ANYONE TO CHECK, NOR DID SHE GO THROUGH LEGAL PRECEDINGS WITH THE ESTATE AGENTS AFTER IT WAS FOUND TO HAVE MOLD IN THE BUILDING. please explain, how if you have health issues YOU ARENT CHECKING THESE THINGS

If she already paid for the top of the line (pc, mic, consoles) why would she need to invest in more?
>Also doesn't she need money to pay for healthcare?
It isn't, then again she has money
You have no idea how much you can do with sponsors, merch, and all of the stuff from the side, that isn't just the monthly money she gets on streams.
>I swear to god half of these models look the exact same, maybe I'm just blind though.
The thing that's funny is that people in the board will always say stuff like "Oh her models aren't the same", is they look the similar (because most of them are cropped) it's because she doesn't want to be lose her brand: she's a pink demon.

Expanding on this:
The problems also increase in like, for example, plasma. Depending on the case it could go for monthly to daily if the problems are bad enough.
Part of the reason she's more "healthy" in recent years it's because back then she wouldn't be able to pay for most of it in time, hence why she was sicker before. As many of the people that have some PI, it all depends on the treatment, so the lack of one could seriously be their biggest downfall, same reason why her problems became incredibly worse.

At the end of it, she has managed to make the PI stuff more public which is surprising because it wasn't really a thing a lot of people talk to, so either if she's faking it or she's telling the truth, she has done more stuff for anyone that suffers from a PI in recent years

>people assume she's about to fucking die
The only people who assume this are people who don't actually watch her

Clarification, she's actually giving all of it.

100% of direct donos.
100% of bits.
100% of special subathon merch sales
50% of subs, because Twitch takes the other 50%.

The only revenue she'll get for that subathon is advertising, sponsors, and non-subathon related merch, which is still a lot, but considering she easily made over $1m in just subs (half to Twitch half to IDF), she's not making nearly as much as she could have.
