Okayu Limbo 1/2

Okayu plays the trailer for her Rainy Day Live before the stream starts. She wasn't doing it before, but she thinks she'll run it every stream until the live from today on. She also mad a new dark/minimalist frame for the game, but unfortunately, it doesn't look like the game capture is showing up, so she spends a few minutes trying to get it to work. Flare shows up in chat with a "I see... so this is Limbo." and Okayu mentions that they were chatting together until Flare warned her about her stream 20 minutes before it was about to start. In the end, Okayu has to get rid of the frame for the capture to show(I'm pretty sure the frame was either actually black or didn't have a transparency option on, but it's hard to tell).

Okayu's actually played this game, but it was so long ago that she's pretty much forgotten all of it. So while this may not be her first time, it's something very close to it. She really likes this game and the way the world is portrayed, and felt like she wanted to be part of it again.

Okayu wonders if the boy is reliving these trials over and over when she sees a corpse that looks like him impaled on some spikes. She knows he's on a journey to find his sister, but the two of them seems to be in very similar yet different worlds. While the boy is in a world filled with dangerous things like giant spiders and deadly electric currents, the girl is peacefully picking flowers. Maybe the barrier he breaks at the end is the one between heaven and hell(Keep in mind Okayu doesn't know what limbo even is until chat tells her later)? She wonders if they were able to see each other again in the end.

Okayu forgot to give a meal in the membership stream the other day? She's been forgetting more often lately too? Sorry about that. She keeps trying to wait until the end of superchat reading to give the meals, but she ends up forgetting half the time she does that. Today's meal is an Onsen Egg; she loves these.

OKayu mentioned that she was talking to Flare earlier, and that Flare tweeted out something about an embarrassing part of her being witnessed by Okayu. What happened is that, for hololive members, they have many different Discord servers for different purposes, including ones for things like meetings, planning things, goods, and regular chatting, and Okayu saw Flare waiting by herself on one of them. Okayu was a little curious about this, so she sent her a message asking what was up and if she wanted to chat. Apparently Flare had gotten on the wrong server by mistake, and had been waiting by herself for a meeting with someone from management for a long time. She responded, explaining this, and said she would love to talk, but had to have a meeting first. Okayu thinks this clumsy/airheaded part of Flare is really cute, and says it's thanks to it that they were able to chat for the first time in a while after Flare's meeting ended.

While they were talking, Flare invited Okayu to play Minecraft together, and told her about the great new update when Okayu said she hadn't played it at all recently. Okayu said she wasn't really employed though, and Flare asked if there was a construction company she wanted to join; Okayu answered that she wanted to join Shiranui Kensetsu. Flare was surprised, but said that their building didn't have any basement(Okayu has a history of living underground in MC, and gave Flare's house the #1 spot in her "Houses She'd Want to Live Under" ranking). Okayu said she can't go without an underground house, but if Shiranui Kensetsu ever gets a basement, maybe she'll swing by for an interview.

Okayu had a lot of fun with that stream yesterday. Okayu always says that SMOK's plans are made in the spur of the moment, and this time was no different. She and Subaru were chatting when they suddenly had the urge for the collab, only about 3 hours before the stream would actually start. They sent messages to both Korosan and Mio, and Mio responded that she was available. Unfortunately the message came too late for Korosan, who was most likely asleep(Though they said she was welcome to join mid-stream).

Okayu had a lot of fun with Shounen Mio and, whatever kind of little girl Subaru tried to be. She ended up using a little girl voice herself, and people seem to have really liked it. She remembers the boom, when all of the holos did little girl streams. They were a lot of fun, she'd like to do it again. She feels her impression has changed a lot though, improving for the most part. Now the one she does sounds like she's half-crying at any given moment. Didn't she do it for the little sister ASMR? Not really; she didn't have to change her voice too much for that.

>Glasses Okayu
A superchat mentions how they liked Okayu wearing glasses in the Uno thumbnail, and Okayu's tone suddenly becomes very playful. Would everybody be happy if she had glasses in her new outfit? She doesn't really have that image though... Well she's not even fully sure if that will happen yet, but maybe, if it makes her fans happy. Newer fans might not know this because she doesn't talk about it too often, but Okayu usually wears glasses every time she has a long stream. You might dogeza to Chiroru-mama for her to give Okayu glasses? Her mama is very kind, so please don't do that. Well, well, who knows what might happen in the future?

Okayu was worried about accidentally displaying her Usami desktop background to everybody when she was trying to get the frame to work at the start. The fans think that it's some lewd art of him, but Okayu promises it's very cool. She does not elect to show it, however. Maybe she should just change the background.

Okayu's got rehearsal for her live tomorrow, so she probably won't be able to stream again because she gets home tired so late. There is a chance it might end a little early though; so she'll try to stream if it does.

After seeing it talked about on Ohasuba, Okayu went and listened to Akirose's bath twitcast, and she thought it was great. The sound of water and little splashes was so relaxing that it made Okayu want to sleep. Aki's voice sounded real clear though; it didn't really echo around in her bathroom at all. If Okayu were to do that, her voice would definitely be hard to hear with all that reverb. She should do one too?! Well, like she said, it would probably be hard to hear her. She won't know unless she tries? Hmmm... Well, she'll think about doing one. She just exposed herself of having a narrow bathroom? Well, that's fine for somebody living by themselves, isn't it? It's not something she really fusses about. Either way, she'll do some more investigating about bath streams later.

Okayu's mentioned how she thinks the onigiryaa is at its cutest when it's flustered or suffering, but lately she's seen a lot of them talking about how cute she is when she's like that herself. This is going to become a battle between the two sides, and she's confident that the pitiable onigiryaa are far cuter. Plus, she doesn't want to be the one suffering!

It seems like people's blu-rays are starting to arrive, Okayu's really excited. Okayu got some letter about her copy, so she expects it to arrive soon. Okayu-sensei is very busy, but managed to find time to help with advice for Korosan's gyakutotsu.

Korone's worried about awkward air during the conversation; Okayu asks for a better description since she's never really noticed her doing that. Korone says she feels like there's no limits when talking with Okayu, but she gets too caught up in anticipating responses with people she doesn't talk to much and falls silent. Okayu says she should just tell them to wait for a second if that happens, and buy herself some time to think. Korone says that's a good idea; she could pretend she dropped something, and Okayu suggests she gets a pen ready. They try it out, but Korone uses the pen to change the subject, and Okayu laughs and says she should stick to the original question. Okayu says it's a perfect strategy, and that she uses it all the time; Korone calls her a liar. Okayu doesn't need it when talking to her, but if it's somebody really important, she'll definitely drop a pen. Everybody uses this technique, and Okayu's barely squeezed out of many dangerous situations with it.

Next is the weird tension when Korone ends up saying something like "Ano..." or "Domo...". Okayu says that it's all in the uneasiness of the tone, and she should try saying those things with more rhythm and force.

Korone asks about using Okayu-sensei as a topic if she's troubled. Okayu says since this is all about strengthening Korosan's social skills, she shouldn't. Quite the opposite, the people she's talking to will probably try to bring up Okayu out of consideration if Korone seems troubled. If that happens, she should say "Ah, hold on! I really don't want to hear about Okayu today." Korone says that people will think they're fighting if she says something like that. What if they start talking about how good their relationship is? Even then, she should probably just say "Can you stop talking about Okayu?"

The last piece of advice is talking about the weather; a classic technique. If the pen technique fails, you can always talk about the weather.

Korone asks if Okayu will come again at the end to give her final judgment, and Okayu agrees. She also says Korone should focus on asking the other person questions so that way she doesn't have to think/talk as much; make them be the ones who have to drop a pen. Korone thanks her, and Okayu says she'll make sure to be back if she's awake. Korone asks if she's planning to sleep. Again, if Okayu can make it, she'll be there.

Okayu congratulates Korosan on getting full points, pointing out the Aqua stuff in particular as being "wonderful"; Korone wonders if she should have given a stronger reaction. Okayu also mentions another thing in her "Korosan Didn't Notice, but it was Funny Series" was that Rushia spitting out the finger that Korone fed her. Korone didn't notice, and wishes she could go back and react properly. Okayu says it's probably for the best that they can't turn back time, when Korone says she would have eaten it herself. What would Okayu have done? She would have said "Oops!" and caught it. Korone says this was all thanks to Okayu-sensei, but Sensei says she's just laying in bed right now. Korone apologizes, and says she'll massage wherever she feels tired. Korone has one last question, "Hasn't there been a lack of Okakoro recently?" Okayu DC's right then, but only because she's on wireless. She says she's down for whenever, and Korosan says tomorrow. Tomorrow it is then! They'll decide what they're playing later. Korosan tells Okayu to make sure to rest well because of how busy she's been lately, but she'll still be up for a bit to talk after this right? They still need to decide what to play. The last thing is a kiss, but Okayu saw Korone kiss Nene, and says she doesn't want it.

Okayu's Rainy Day Live is tomorrow. Even though she only announced it a week ago, it still feels like it's coming so fast. She hopes everybody can come and see it. If you have work, she understands, though she does yell "YADA" several times; she's sorry for being selfish. Oh, she can be even more selfish? She can't though, you're all so kind that it'd make things hard for you. You want things to be hard? You're really all a bunch of M's, just like her.

>Yesterday's collab
For those who watch Korosan's totsumachi, they know how the idea for the collab started when she talked about the lack of Okakoro at the end. After that, they went and invited Mio-chan to join them too. Apparently 4 person Mario Party collabs can take a bit of time, so you have to submit an actual request to do them(?), so they had to go with 3 since it was pretty spur of the moment. She knows a lot of people are probably wondering why it wasn't a 4 person collab. She still can't believe the CPU won, and that they all have to do a punishment stream now. Her Mario Party pride is seriously hurt. She's so experienced at all the Mario Party games(except the handhelds), that it's a huge insult to have been beaten so completely.

Okayu's really excited for it! She loves the older Mario Party games, and had always secretly been wishing for the old levels/games to come out in a new work, so this was by far the title that got her most excited. Did everybody notice that the BGM right in the beginning of the trailer was one from the 3rd game? She really loved playing on the Peach's Cake level too, so she was happy to see that it and Space World were both confirmed for the game. Also, she looked at the list of minigames, and it seems like another one of her favorites, the ice cream catching game from 5, made it in too! She really wants to play it with the other holos when it comes out. She's said it before, but she didn't have many friends to play party games with in the past, and always played them by herself, but now she has tons of people around her to play them with! She wonders if it's okay for her to have so much happiness. She keeps rewatching the trailer whenever she has free time.

Okayu really is nervous about it. She knows her fans will be happy no matter what she does as long as she has fun, but she really wants to show them her good side. Her voice gets shrill when she's nervous? Exactly! She feels like she managed to hide that for almost the entirety of the first year, but now all her fans know. Please don't go telling that to anybody who still thinks she's not the type to get nervous though. It's also crazy that there's a huge forecast for rain tomorrow. No, she didn't predict it a week in advance or anything. Is she a cat who likes rain? She really doesn't pay too much attention to the weather, being a shut-in and all. She probably notices it even less now that she's in the city and so many places are right next to train stations. She hardly needs an umbrella.

>Umbrellas
Okayu's seen a lot of fans on twitter posting screenshots of umbrellas that they plan to use when cheering, from their own homes, during the Live. She thinks there might also be a lot who go with raincoats too. It's like a Yakult Swallows(Baseball team) game? That's right! Okayu actually doesn't know too much about baseball, but she did go and see one of their games live and there were lots of people with umbrellas.

As you may have guessed, Okayu went to this game with Korosan, who was very good at explaining things to Okayu. Okayu likes to brag a bit about how the first/only game she went to had a player score 3 homeruns. She remembers Korosan freaking out and telling her how amazing this match was and how happy she was to have brought her to see it. Some people here saw that same match? Well then, there's a chance that Okakoro was sitting somewhere nearby you, though there were tons of people there. This was also before they entered hololive, so this was more like future-Okakoro. Still, it's almost kind of romantic, like destiny.

>The meaning of "Dasai"
Okayu's been seriously wondering about what makes something dasai(think tacky or cheesy). She talks for a while about thinking about what it truly means. The meaning she settles upon is something that causes your brain to feel some kind of stress when you see it. Like, if she took the topic text, and moved it from the white cloud to behind her head, that would bother people, right? Well, intentionally tacky things can be really funny too though. Maybe that's why she tries to keep all her thumbnails simple usually.

>Onigiryaa time
Okayu's done with her topics, so it's time for fan questions. Normally she extends the stream if she talks too long, but she doesn't want to do that today, for obvious reasons. Fans later noticed Okayu hearting comments 3 hours after the stream ends, so she might not have been able to sleep, or she was watching Korosan or something.

Korosan's in chat, asking where the Korosan time talk is. Okayu pretends to get mad, and says there's none because they already talked a bunch yesterday.

>Ichibankuji Rengoku figure
Okayu wants it! But she's also not sure if she should get it. Of course, she knows stock will disappear while she hesitates.

>Onigiri
Okayu eats onigiri fairly often. She's pretty nocturnal, but still has to get up for morning work a lot. When that happens and she's pressed for time, she usually just has some onigiri with miso soup. It's tasty.

>Favorite Mario Party
2 and 3 are usually the most popular. The minigames started getting real good in 2, and 3 let you hold up to 3 items, but Okayu's always had a fondness for the first. It might just be due to her having the most memories of it. She does love 2 and 3 though.

>Temanyan
Lately Okayu's been watching cute cat/kitten videos, and Temari seems to get interested whenever she hears them crying. She'll come over to Okayu and act real sweet; rolling around on her lap. Okayu doesn't think she's jealous, since she seems to be in a good mood. She thinks maybe Temari is treating Okayu like her own child who's crying for attention, which is odd since Okayu's the parent here. Nyassu sure is cute.

>Tired confidence
Was the beer she drank the other day tasty? No, it was super bitter. She really doesn't drink it normally, but she was so exhausted that she didn't care. She feels like actually likes to challenge herself to do things she wouldn't normally do when she's exhausted. Things like drinking beer, or doing some extra cleaning before bed. In fact, she'll probably do some more cleaning tonight so she can go into the Live with a clean room and conscience.

>Worries for the live?
Forgetting lyrics. This is one of her biggest weaknesses. She always practices memorizing them for her utawaku too, but she really wants to get them all right for this even. Technical issues? Well, she hopes that won't happen again. They've done a bunch of rehearsals, staff included, so she's got no choice but to believe in them. She's really hoping that it goes smoothly.

>Dream jobs as a kid?
A flower lady. Probably mainly due to the influence of the one who took care of her a lot as a child. She mainly just wanted to be near pretty flowers though, just like she wanted to make cakes so she could eat them.

Okayu Live Afterthoughts 1/3

Okayu got an even better reaction from her fans than she thought she would; she's really happy. Thanks for getting it to number one in trending, and for taking so many cute pictures. Okayu wants to show some of her favorites while talking about them.

>Could have been longer
Okayu's one issue is that she intended the show to go on for a full hour, but it only ended up being 45 minutes long. She sang, what, 8 songs? Now she thinks she wants to do her next one with 10. Truth be told, it's partially Okayu's fault for moving so fast during the main performance. She actually did have a script for the event, but she talks faster when she's nervous, and the parts that should have taken 4 and a half minutes instead took only 2. Well, even if it was short, she wanted people to focus on her singing this time, so that may have actually helped.

Okayu wasn't sure if people got to see them enough, but she was wearing these cute little rain boots the whole time. The paw pads underneath were cute? Good job noticing! For those who didn't notice, she recommends you go watch the part where she's sitting on the rooftop. She actually really wanted to swing her legs around more so everybody good see them. Applause to those who noticed. She actually talked a lot with the staff about how she could show those off without ruining the atmosphere of the live, and they ended up settling on that rotating shot on the building.

>Camerawork
This was Okayu's main focus for the show. She spent a lot of time thinking up good angles with the staff. She really wanted to go for as many emotional angles as she could. She watched a lot of music videos, paying attention to the camerawork. She really likes fixed point angles, where it feels like the person doesn't notice they're being filmed. People were real supportive, and they spent many hours finding what worked best.

Staff got real excited when the moon was visible at this angle, and Okayu got pumped up when they told her as well. Where'd they get the stage from? It's the same one used in Botan's debut 3D, actually. Are there any hidden YAGOOs anywhere? Maybe the staff put him somewhere. That'd really ruin the mood though, wouldn't it? Maybe there's some scenery that resembles him or something. It'd be like the "Let's search for Hikakin!" segment at the start of Hikakin's videos.

Okayu really loves the way the rain on the see-through umbrella looks, and that she could open and close it. She told management that she really wanted an umbrella in her hand for the live, and they got her one. Is it for her use only? She doesn't think so. Isn't this amazing? Okayu thinks this has to be the best angle. The staff shouted "With this, we've won!" when they got it. She felt that she could quietly capture the onigiryaa's heart with this rooftop shot. It feels like they're sitting by each other, sharing an umbrella on a date. It's dangerous? She'd be fine if she fell; she's a cat who would land with a soft "tap". The onigiryaa would probably land with a "splat". They'll be fine because they're onigiri? That's good too.

Isn't this one amazing too? The emotional feeling of her surrounded by all these buildings? Seeing the back of a V-tuber is kind of emotional, since you don't usually get to see it too often. People might not know, but her hoodie has cat ears that you can see from here. A lot of people seem to love her tail too, huh? She has to have that hole in the back of her pants, otherwise getting her tail out is quite a hassle.

>Fanart
There's also a few pieces of fanart that Okayu shows off and talks about too. The first one is about her butt getting wet during the sitting part. The thing is, she had so much adrenaline in her system, that she didn't even notice her backside getting soaked. Even her underwear must have been soggy? Adrenaline sure is something, isn't it? There's also art of her getting her knees wet during the long kneel in Last Resort. Don't worry, she made sure to hop in the bath when she got home.

Okayu got really passionate during the live. She got to sing a bunch of her favorite vocaloid songs, Last Resort in particular. She wanted to make sure she sang it at the end, and got really into it. Kneeling hadn't been in any of the rehearsals, but she ended up ad-libbing it in the heat of the moment.

Without her amazing fans, Okayu would never have done this. Sure she'd be fine joining the other girls for the big performances, but normally she's just a selfish cat who wants to stay indoors and play games. Because she has all these fans who love her though, she really wanted to show them a good side of her; they made her want to try her best. Just like she couldn't have done this without people to set it up, she also couldn't have done it without the onigiryaa who love her. Are you crying? Well, there will surely be a lot more going on from here, but she'd be happy if you stayed by her side.

Okayu really loves Ponono's art of the onigiryaa getting ready for the live. The future veteran being surprised by the one with glowing umbrellas is great; maybe he's impressed. Kayuchun is there too! FBK drew her for Okayu. Is that a glowing onigiryaa in the top right; is he a gaming-onigiryaa? Maybe he has a glowing raincoat? She really likes how they still look so stoic due to their lack of faces.

Isn't this amazing? Okayu had to make it her thumbnail, and didn't even want to put words on it so people could appreciate it. Izumi is in chat, and she thanks him for taking his own time to make this fine art. Okayu feels like this might be during her singing Proto Disco. This is the ideal mysterious neko she wants to be. Maybe she's going to crush their head? This could be alternative Okayu too.

Okayu was very impressed by all the fanart she saw by the time she got home. Even if you were drawing during the show, isn't everybody too fast? Okayu draws sometimes herself, and she takes way longer to finish anything.

>Tomorrow's game
The game Okayu will play tomorrow is...Yomawari! She's never played it, but it looks really cute. Subaru, who's played it before, is actually the one who said she wanted to watch Okayu play it, though several other girls have played it too.

>Subaru
Okayu's mentioned in the past that they have very different tastes in music, but lately Subaru's been recommending her songs, saying she wants to hear Okayu sing them. They do little exchanges like this often; trying to get each other interested in things they like. Okayu's been practicing these songs in her free time. It's a good way to learn songs in genres she's not familiar with. You want a SubaOka cover? That would be nice, wouldn't it?

>On the horizon
Okayu already released her cover earlier this month, but there will definitely be another at some point in the future. More importantly, there's something else big that Okayu wants to announce eventually. It's still at the point where she can't talk about it just yet, but it should be next month or the month after at the latest that she can clue us in. Please look forward to it. She's happy to have so much to give her fans lately, but right now she wants to focus on tomorrow's Yomawari playthrough. Don't worry about her pushing herself too hard; she's doing this because she wants too, and she'll make sure to take a rest day if it becomes too much. Even so, you're worried? Then it most be love. It's amazing that she can do all this stuff to make people happy? She might just fall in love with you too if you say that.

>Things she's bad at
Lots of things. She can't jump-rope, she can't deal with bugs(cicada in particular), and she's got terrible memory, plus there's probably a lot more if you went looking. Can she play with a kendama? Not at all, but she remembers really having fun with toys like that. She really liked playing with tops, not beyblades, but the old Japanese wooden tops that you would spin with a string. She would play with that thing everyday. In kindergarten she remembers they had everybody color their own top to play with. Everybody in class made a rainbow-colored one, but, for some reason, Okayu's was only green.

>Meal
Waterproof spray! There's been a lot of rain, so make sure to spray yourself down. It was really handy back in her hometown when it snowed. It really repels moisture.

>Finally back
Okayu's ready for things to calm down a bit tomorrow. She's been so busy getting things ready for the show these past few months, that she'll be happy to just relax and play Yomawari. She should use the superchat to buy herself a reward? Maybe she'll get a macaron or something.

Okayu's been drinking more tea than usual today. When she's focusing on a game, she usually only drinks about half a bottle per stream, but she's almost done with her current bottle already. She doesn't feel like going pee at all yet, even though the data would suggest that it's time for her to go pee. Actually, talking about it made her have to go; guess data doesn't lie. She'll be right back.

>Paid live
Okayu thinks all the superchats claiming to be for ticket fare are funny. She wanted to do a free live so all her fans could enjoy it. If it was paid admission though, then it would probably be possible to do something of even higher quality. If she ever had the chance to do something like that, she'd honestly want to go for it. It's a bit of a dream for her.

>Day off
Okayu will probably take one somewhere in the middle of the week; either Wednesday or Thursday. Wednesday used to be the go-to because of new Golden Kamuy chapters, but now she likes to stream on those days for that exact reason.

>Work
After this superchat reading, Okayu actually has a mountain of work that's piled up to do. She's been far too busy with preparations for her live, and other work she had to do kept growing over time. Don't worry about her being up late working; she's nocturnal. Everybody else goes to work in the morning, but Okayu does hers at night.
