I finished the game, and did all the sidequests and hunts, but skipped most of the challenge missions. My run took ~45h.

There's sidequests but they're all individually pretty short, and the open world offers fuckall for exploration reward so she's unlikely to get turbo derailed like BotW. Hell, if she figures out it's "just like FF14" then she might end up ignoring the sidequests and just bumrush the MSQ (which is a different problem, because the actually important sidequests are assloaded into right after the moment you get the obvious "enter the final boss dungeon" MSQ). The realistic issue is whether or not she gets the challenge mission autism bug a la Bayonetta and does a ton of retries, but then again there's a high chance she doesn't actually find half of them in the first place. Or she doesn't really learn combos and every fight takes 2-3x longer than it has to.

Tomorrow people are gonna be making even more excuses for Kiara when her Birthday stream doesn’t even get 10k.
