I think the fact of the matter is that people view Ame as a "gremlin" first, and a object of desire second. Her entertainment value (at least for me) is what keeps me around. Not to say other talents aren't entertaining, but she doesn't make being horny part of her shtick, she tends to be more this singularly weird girl that people like because she's funny.
Now people will point to IRyS and call bullshit, but I disagree. I think part of the reason IRyS doesn't have much art is moreso because she hasn't courted many fanartists to begin with, being mostly seperated from Myth and Council (even if council fans would like to believe otherwise). So while her fans are more dedicated to her, she herself doesn't usually attract new artists.
