Fujiwara's design was so good. It was too confusing for the average normie but I think Riona would like it. I think the problem was the average gamer can't contemplate an exploration plat where you don't just shoot everything that moves and instead have to trade information and clear events. Really unique game. Even sadder that he gets no credit for Biohazard when its clear he was the one with the aptitude for designing maze-like structure.
Sweet Home, Tomba, and Biohazard are more similar structurally than people realize, they just have different kinds of moment-to-moment action. All labyrinth designs that involve trading, finding items and using resources. Tomba is just more dialogue driven, letting the characters facilitate upgrades. Sweet Home is the most resource heavy, Bio is kind of in the middle.
To think he also made Capcom a companyknown for action games with GnG, one of the greatest designers to ever live. Credit this fucking man

I truly feel sorry for Lumi, she has it hard enough before you even consider her viewers mostly being full on schizos from /here/.
She's in a rough position where her chat/community would improve significantly and be more welcoming to new viewers if some of the worst were culled and she interacted more, but she doesn't really have the viewers to sustain the loss that would be required to fix the problem and her chat is so bad right now that it's no wonder she doesn't interact much in the first place.
It's a tough situation to break out of, but having some mods to time out and curb unwanted behavior would be a good start.

Most viewers just aren't that hardcore, let alone streamers. Repeating the same level over and over again can drive regular viewers away (and drive backseaters rabid).
I think its safe to say that most viewers are just happy for the streamer to experience all of the content, and aren't usually hung up on them going through the whole struggle to learn and grow enough to beat it as originally designed.

the thing one shouldn't forget about these old games is also that they weren't meant to be played through in just a handful of streams but to last you over weeks and months. streamers simply don't have the time to do that for a single game when most of that is just repetition.

there's no savescumming in D2 and not once did she whine or complain about it.
she reloaded the game to have a proper fight with The End after accidentally getting the "old age" wincon.
