I am a fat 1.90m tall guy and I can travel using economy class just fine even on long distance flights for over 13 hours. Stop being such a pussy.
I think the issue is mostly that it is being frowned upon, like oh you must be poor. Spending houndreds of bucks for a comfy seat I can use only for a couple of hours just sounds like a dumb thing to me.

That's really down to how your height is split up between your legs and torso. I'm 1.85m but I have long legs, to the point where even a premium eco seat isn't great. Couldn't imagine flying economy on a long haul flight.
Additional bonus is that you also get business class food.
