on the other hand, chuubas at 15-30 viewers are always looking for raid suggestions, if only to keep their raid targets diverse. so you can introduce those 15-30 viewers to a smaller chuba which likely doesn't have conflicting schedules with who they were watching previously
it's much more effective in my eyes, and you really only need to get a chuuba to 10+ or so to stop them from quitting since that's basically enough to get "small community" feels
the chuuba i used this on (she's on hiatus since she's moving her computer setup from her college dorm) sat at a comfortable ~15 viewers with enough money to graduate from the standard 3d model she has been using

You're probably new to Twitch so you don't get the culture. It's HEAVILY based around bits and donations and not direct donations. While they're not rare, cash donos are much more uncommon than gift sub bombs or bits. I've streamed for a while and made 5kUSD, maybe 3-400 of that was cash, and that's when I was pushing a donation goal.

No one will change that culture either, and a majority of your fanbase will (or should) be Twitch viewers that have already integrated into it. Gift subs help the community and grant badges, as do bits and subs of different tiers which is part of how they pushed such a hard culture, by gamifying it.

I've legit been subbed to this 4k viewer WoW streamer for less than 2 months and he's replied to more of my messages than some chuubas have.
