They are, for both viewers and streamers.
Buying emotes that can only be used on a single channel is a waste, and they serve as good organic advertisement. you can click on a cool emote and discover a new streamer.
Shoutouts are obviously great for networking/discovery as well.
Twitch takes too big of a cut of bits, but it does save chuubas from shit like chargebacks, and are incorporated into the platform in various ways like redeems.
Hype trains should be pretty clear, they encourage more people to get caught up in the excitement and donate more, and rewards are even given out to viewers for it (even if they're usually shitty).

i will admit that as a pure streamign platform twitch is superior over youtube however due to the twitch culture i agree that stream experience is better on youtube in my opinion.

I just played through it yesterday, had only played the remaster before. Ran into the same bug but was able to salvage the game by loading a previous save from just before attacking the station, so completely restarting the mission is not necessary. Couldn't pinpoint the exact reason though.
I also got the objectives cleared just by destroying the units guarding the station and then got flanked by frigates I had previously missed so I guess the objective only counts the fleet guarding the station, despite people claiming you need to destroy absolutely everything.

Yeah unfortunately there are no cheats to reveal the whole map or anything like that. One thing I noticed was that I had a scuffed save I made when I was attacking the station, and after loading that save the game would crash about 5 seconds later, but if I selected all my ships and told them to cancel orders before the crash then it would keep running, however the mission wouldn't end even after destroying everything. It feels like one of the enemy ships that was there initially gets glitched and crashes the game if your units target it, but it still counts towards the objective.

I think Lumi might just be the droid for most people
